DICTA 2020 – Student Award
The DICTA 2020 Organising Committee is pleased to be offering a number of complimentary registrations for this year’s online conference to full-time students.
Applications are open to any full time student with a valid student ID card (includes high school, TAFE, University).
To apply for a Student Award registration, select the appropriate option in the registration portal and provide a brief (up to 50 words) summary explaining why you should receive a complimentary registration and how attending the conference will benefit your education and professional development.
Your application will be treated in strict confidence and reviewed only by appointed members of the Organising Committee.
Applicants will be advised of the committee’s decision the week commencing Monday 9 November.

POST CONFERENCE WORKSHOP REGISTRATION
Post Conference Workshops will be hosted on Thursday 3 December 2020 and are free to attend for registered DICTA delegates and the general public.
Post Conference Workshops will be delivered by hosts via Zoom Webinars.
To register, visit the DICTA registration portal. When in the portal you can register your attendance for the DICTA main program, just for post conference workshops or both.
PAYMENT POLICY
Payment is due within 7 days of submitting your registration.
If you are registering within 30 days of the conference you will be required to pay with a credit card when registering online.
CONFIRMATION & TAX INVOICES
A confirmation with a PDF Tax Invoice will be emailed when you submit your registration.
If you pay by credit card a receipt will also be attached.
CURRENCY & GST
All prices are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD$) and include GST.
INSURANCE
The registration fees do not include insurance of any kind regarding cancellation or postponement of the conference.
CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS
Credit card charges appear as Conference Design Pty Ltd on your card statement. When using the online payment system credit cards are processed directly by ANZ eGate and Conference Design does not store or transmit your credit card details. ANZ eGate is a secure and PCI compliant platform.

REGISTRATION CANCELLATION POLICY
Any individual registration cancellation requests are subject to the cancellation policy listed below and as agreed to when registering for the conference. In regard to COVID-19, we continue to monitor advice from the Australian Government.
Registration cancellations will NOT be eligible for any refund, however, another person may attend the conference in your place. All cancellations must be advised via email to .
CONFERENCE CANCELLATION OR POSTPONEMENT
The members of the Committee and Conference Design Pty Ltd do not accept any liability for losses incurred in the event of the conference being cancelled or postponed due to an unforeseen event or any other event that renders performance of this conference inadvisable, illegal, impracticable or impossible.
An unforeseen event shall include, but shall not be limited to: an Act of God; infectious disease outbreak, industrial disruptions, service provider failures, governmental restrictions and/or regulations; war or apparent act of war; terrorism or apparent act of terrorism; disaster; civil disorder, disturbance, and/or riots; curtailment, suspension, and/or restriction on transportation; or any other emergency.
